Collection Containers
August 12, 2008 – 1:18 amAmong the changes with the new solid waste contract is a limit to the number of roll-out containers that will be allowed per residence. One can is currently provided, and additional cans are requested by calling City Hall. We will in turn contact Waste Management to order an additional can, and begin billing for the can on your next utility bill. Residential units will be limited to two (2) cans. The charge per can will be $8.50 per month and will be billed on utility bills. Small commercial sites can have more cans, at the $8.50 per can fee. The Public Works Director will decide when dumpster service is required for commercial sites, churches, non-profits, etc.
