- Request for Sign: Ms. Sandra Scates, 502 Sunset Drive has requested that a “Children at Play” sign be placed on Sunset Drive due to the number of small children who play in or near the street. The City has signs in stock that say “Please Drive Slowly (we love our children).” While these signs are not regulatory, they are available for placement with Council approval. The posted speed limit for Sunset Drive is 25MPH.
- Enforcement Response Plan: At the recommendation of the State, revisions were made to the City’s Enforcement Response Plan that was adopted in 1995. This plan, along with the Sewer Use Ordinance, gives the City the authority to take any necessary action to insure that all permit requirements are in compliance. The plan has been sent to the Division of Water Quality to be reviewed and may be returned to the City prior to Monday’s meeting. Otherwise, this item will be placed on the December agenda for approval.
